International kitchen design and renovation specialist Cuisines Schmidt has capitalised on the importance of a household’s kitchen and will be launching its UK franchise network at the National Franchise Exhibition, which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham on October 1 and 2.
The Cuisines Schmidt franchise model has been active in the French market for more than 20 years, and has a presence in 25 countries with 564 showrooms worldwide. The Schmidt kitchen brand also has a presence in the UK retail market.
UK Expansion Manager Wilfried Mounie said: “After two years of trading, our experience in France has shown that a Schmidt Showroom can achieve an average turnover of around £1.7million. We believe the same performance levels are achievable in the UK and that there is a place for our brand.”
Franchising is a proven business model and contributes more than £11.8 billion to the UK economy. The industry is represented by hundreds of franchise opportunities, with investment levels ranging from £6,000 to £500,000.
Cuisines Schmidt will be among the line up of more than 150 local and international exhibitors at the National Franchise Exhibition, including McDonald’s, AlphaGraphics, Cafe2U, Gautier and Lighterlife UK.
The event will include a free seminar programme and a number of interactive features designed to provide visitors with an insight into all aspects of becoming a franchise owner.
