High Five For Foot Solutions

Ireland’s Olympian Sonia O’Sullivan was on hand earlier this month to launch the ultra modern Foot Solutions store on O’Connell Street, Limerick.  This is Foot Solutions fifth store in Ireland and the franchise is going from strength to strength as it continues its roll-out across Ireland and The UK.
Once described as footwear’s answer to Starbucks, Foot Solutions currently has more than 250 stores worldwide and is the leading health and wellness franchise focusing on foot care, comfort shoes and custom arch supports.
The Limerick store launch was attended by Minister of State Peter Power T.D., Ray Reidy, franchise owner for Foot Solution Limerick and John and Tony Linehan, who are the master franchise owners for Foot Solutions Ireland and the UK.

Sonia O’Sullivan took the opportunity to be measured for Foot Solutions Custom arch supports by the store’s manageress, Angela O’Connor. The top athlete remarked that these products would have relieved a lot of her recurring injury problems during her notable athletics career.
According to managing director John Linehan, “Foot Solutions focuses on comfort shoes, custom arch supports and foot care products. We carry some of the world’s finest comfort shoes with extra depth and width.
Our extensive shoe range covers all categories from comfort, sport, dress, preventative, and casual to specific physiological shoes that have health and wellness benefits. These shoes such as MBT and Chung Shi can help improve posture and reduce, or in some cases eliminate foot pain and associated symptoms such as knee and lower back pain. In addition we carry a wide range of diabetic footwear”.

With a strong focus on customer service and personal detailed attention to client requirements, Linehan is convinced that “a successful future for this Foot Solutions store in the heart of Limerick city and the franchise as a whole is a certainty”.

The successful American franchise launched its first European store in Cork, less than two years ago, in June 2007 and since then has commenced its roll-out of stores across Ireland and the UK.

“There are currently five Foot Solutions stores in Ireland, who are trading successfully and we have our first two stores opening in the UK this summer. We are actively seeking new franchisees and successful business investors to take advantage of this very tried and tested concept, which is bucking the trend in these recessionary times”, commented Linehan.
Foot Solutions is a specialty retail franchise and as such franchisees receive extensive training ,at the end of which they will understand feet and all of the problems they may incur. Through the use of high-tech foot scanning equipment franchsiees will be able to provide their customers with specialist services such as gait analysis and they can test for pressure points on a customer’s feet. From there they can recommend shoes, or indeed custom-made arch supports, that will give the customer a unique customized solution.

“In addition to the initial training, franchisees are guaranteed comprehensive on-going backup and support from our state of the art pedorthic laboratory and training facility and in Atlanta, Georgia which is headed by Dr. William Faddack DPM”, reassured Linehan.

He added, “This is a highly rewarding business at the beginning of its life cycle. We have developed comprehensive systems that will guide franchisees through all aspects of their business from getting started to maximising the return from their store. The Foot Solutions concept gives a unique opportunity to own a successful retail franchise with reasonable working hours and low overheads”.

Foot Solutions is currently seeking high calibre individuals to open single and multi unit franchises throughout Ireland and the UK.
