GROWTH continues apace at national discount retailer Cash Generator, in spite of a challenging economic climate.
The Bolton-based company opened 24 stores during the first six months of trading in 2011 and has seen the number of franchise stores increase by 21 per cent in the last year.
Having opened its 170th store this autumn, the company expects to hit 200 by early 2012.
Cash Generator has also invested in its head office infrastructure, creating 20 new roles as part of its commitment to providing support for the business and its growing network of franchisees.
The franchise training programme offers a structured and professional programme from CIPD approved trainers. Whatever their skill set, franchisees are guided through a combination of academic and vocational training.
Initial and ongoing franchise support includes guidance from the property team in finding the right location and advice from the financial department on drawing up a solid business plan.
Managing director Julian Urry said: “We are expanding at an impressive rate as savvy consumers turn to us as the first place to get a fair deal on retail and financial services. We are hopeful that the final quarter of 2011 will continue in the same vein with a busy Christmas expected.”
Minimum investment is £70,000 to £80,000 with total start up fees between £230,000 and £250,000.
