Mark Goode joins YogaBugs as new CEO

YogaBugs are pleased to announce that with immediate effect Mark Goode has been appointed Chief Executive of the Group.

Having successfully run the YogaBugs Birmingham Franchise for the last 12-months, Mark seemed perfectly placed to see the exciting future of the business. He will take over the leadership with a wealth of experience to offer all our franchisees.

As Mark explains, ‘Being an actual hands-on franchisee over the last 12-months has given me a real insight into what issues you encounter as a YogaBugs partner and how best to handle these situations. I would like to feel that the “been there, done it” advantage will really allow me to move the business forward at a rapid pace’

Mark plans to offer far more support to the franchise network as well as provide a number of services centrally, making the whole franchise process clearer and simpler to follow.

As well as YogaBugs, Mark is the Chief Executive of one of the UK’s leading specialist Optical and Pharmaceutical Recruitment Businesses and a Managing Director of a Professional Training & Development Company.

However, as part of his commitment to making YogaBugs a household name, he will now be leaving the day to day operations of his other companies to their respective management teams, giving him time to focus on taking YogaBugs to the next level.

As a result of this re-structure YogaBugs Founder Fenella Lindsell will now be appointed Development Director so as to fully utilise her wealth of experience.  She will concentrate on creating new Yoga courses for the teenage and seniors market, therefore developing further revenue streams for YogaBugs Franchisees. This move will allow Fenella time to focus on the many YogaBugs media opportunities and increase brand awareness for everyone.

Lara Goodbody who is currently on maternity leave will return as Managing Director of the YogaBugs International Division and will focus on developing the YogaBugs network outside of the UK. Given Lara’s strong business background it will allow everyone to benefit from growing the brand on a global scale.

Lara said “Those that have met Mark will know that he likes to lead from the front and play a very hands-on role. This, combined with his enthusiasm and energy, will make him a very valuable asset to the company. He has proven himself to us with his successful growth of territories in the Midlands.” She went on to say “We view this as a key appointment and will look forward to seeing our franchise network continue to grow under his leadership”.
