Quarterly growth for gas-elec

gas-elec, a leader in the field of gas and electrical safety inspections, services, products and advice, has seen the business grow by a massive 11% across the franchise network in Q1 2009.

Despite the UK economy struggling through an economic recession, the franchise sector has seen a substantial growth, as more and more people turn to franchise ownership as an employment option.

John Davidson, Managing Director of gas-elec: "According to the British Franchise Association the franchise market grew by 15% in 2007 and we expect them to report record greater growth for 2008."

Davidson went on to say that the earning potential for gas-elec franchisees continues to be high and that there has been a steady influx of keen to purchase a franchise.

NEW ENERGY-SAVING DEVICE REDUCES DOMESTIC GAS BILLS

New to the market, the g-save Economiser unit works on gas, oil or LPG-fuelled installations and can reduce heating bills by up to 35%. John Pett, a qualified gas engineer and consultant from Kent, performed independent gas energy usage tests over a two-week period in a three bedroom semi-detached house built in 1935 with a typical 225mm (9") solid wall construction. Occupied by two adults and two late teenage children, the property recorded a massive 22% saving on their gas usage with the installation of the g-save Economiser. (The weather conditions were fairly similar throughout the two weeks.)

The patented g-save Economiser has two electronic timers that each pulse at different pre-set times which run 24-hours a day, seven days a week. One timer is wired into the room thermostat whilst the other is wired into the hot water cylinder thermostat wiring. The g-save Economiser pulses the demand for heat so that the latent heat in the system that is still moving around is used to full effect even when the boiler is not active, thus making substantial savings on gas usage.
