Franchising the Envos way

Changes in Government legislation opens up a new franchise opportunity

This is a unique opportunity within a rapidly growing market estimated to be worth over £500 million in the UK. From October 1st 2008 Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) are required by law for all commercial buildings, with very few exceptions.

Much like the ‘A, B, C’ energy efficiency ratings we have on household white goods like fridges and freezers, the Envos franchise responds to the new government legislation to provide similar ratings on commercial buildings throughout the UK.

Before a building can be marketed for sale or lease, an energy certificate will be required. Just imagine how many landlords, managing agents, surveyors, business units and property developers that will require an Energy Performance Certificate to stay legal.

The Envos franchise operates in harmony with the current economic climate. Driven by government legislation, it offers a sustainable business opportunity for the individual whilst serving as a long term solution to the commercial property market.

“As a specialist company we provide energy certification, carbon and environmental management systems audits. This is a first-of-its-kind franchise package offering the right individuals a significant opportunity,” explains Wade Barker, (pictured above) Managing Director of Envos.

A number of pilot franchisees are currently operational within the UK and performing extremely well.

Mike Clarke who lives with his wife and two children in Devon, was among the first of three franchisees that joined Envos before the official launch in late October 2008.

“I know that this business offers  huge gains while commercial properties come up to speed with the legislation changes. In the long term, being part of the Envos brand will ensure that I am able to pitch to larger organisations that wouldn’t have considered me as a small independent business.”

All franchisees will undergo a comprehensive training programme to ensure that they are confident in their ability to manage their business and team.

With projected net profits amounting to £450k by Year 2, Envos is looking for individuals with high aspirations to succeed while building a sustainable franchise within a proven business model. Envos need like-minded people capable of running an exciting and rewarding business. The franchise comes with clear and specific guidelines for managing the business which must be followed.

“In the first instance, we are offering a limited number of Key Regional Franchise positions which offers the right individuals the opportunity to sub contract or even sub franchise their region as the business grows,” explains Wade.
