Franchisee Steve Ide celebrates five years with ChipsAway

Franchisee Steve Ide is celebrating five years with leading automotive paint repair franchise ChipsAway.
The former telecoms marketing manager ditched the long hours and high pressure that went with his old job for a lifestyle that allows him to spend more time with his young family, enjoy a good income, and work shorter days.
ChipsAway currently has around 350 franchisees providing top quality repairs on a same day basis from fully equipped mobile workshops. This year the company is celebrating 15 years of successful operation in the UK.
Mr Ide said: "I'm happy with my independence and the work-life balance I've achieved. I love what I do and take pride in the quality of my repairs. As a result I have built up a good reputation locally and I'm never short of work.
