Franchise with Ovenclean

THIS time last year Emily and Ian Balm were among the thousands of visitors flocking to the National Franchise Exhibition in search of a new career direction.

Mr Balm had been made redundant following the banking crisis and his wife was on maternity leave, expecting their first child.

Today their lives have been transformed and they now run a thriving Ovenclean domestic oven cleaning franchise, with the flexibility to build their growing business around their young son, and enjoy increasing financial rewards.

Mrs Balm said: “It’s hard work, but those customers who have seen their ovens restored  to  pristine, ‘good as new’ condition, tend to be the most delighted with our service and give us glowing reviews.”

A recent national survey commissioned by Ovenclean into awareness and attitudes towards professional domestic oven cleaning services confirmed that 100 per cent of those who had experienced a professional oven clean rated the service as excellent and said that they would definitely have their ovens professionally cleaned again.

“There is the potential with a franchise that you could either be left too much to your own devices, or micro-managed and given too little independence, but in my view, Ovenclean provides a very happy balance,” said Mr Balm.
“We’re delighted with the way our business is going, and we’re enjoying working together to build a secure future for our family,” he added.
