Lime Orchard, the garden transformation company launched by Judy Behl  (original founder of Scenic Blue the UK’s first landscaping franchise) in April this year,  is delighted to announce the appointment of Mike Goddard to the role of Non-Executive Chairman.

Goddard - who masterminded the franchising of national lettings business Belvoir, which now boasts 150 offices nationwide, and who is currently Chairman of the British Franchise Association - will be guiding the development of Lime Orchard as a franchise opportunity.

Commenting on the appointment of Goddard, Judy Behl says “we are absolutely delighted to have Mike on board and predict his gravitas and undisputed expertise in the franchise arena will have a significant, positive impact on the growth of the Lime Orchard franchise proposition.  Our business plan anticipates the development of the Lime Orchard brand and successful marketing of our core garden design and construction offering to the domestic and commercial landscape markets.  The response to date has been fantastic and we are now keen to roll out the successful business model as a viable, tried and tested franchise opportunity”.

Mike Goddard commented, “in the short time since its launch Lime Orchard has already demonstrated its proven appeal as an award winning garden transformation service and the company is enjoying early commercial success with its innovative business model.  Working alongside Judy, who has an excellent track record in the  franchise and landscaping industries, I relish the opportunity of drawing on my personal experience of the franchise sector to drive the company forward to the next stage of its evolution, to become a highly respected franchise boasting a national network of successful profitable franchisees”.
