We have enjoyed steady growth year on year and have featured in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 in 2007 and The Recruiter Hot Top 50 in 2009 and 2010 for being one fastest growing privately owned companies in the UK.

Drivers Direct can offer you a Franchise in the recruitment sector, however, we prefer to think of our business together as a joint venture.

In order to start your own recruitment agency, you will be required to provide some investment capital for set-up costs and cash flow. We in turn provide you with the support, national client base, knowledge and skills you will need in order to set up and run a successful recruitment business. 

Currently we are looking to increase our franchises throughout the UK and are interested in meeting with experienced business professionals who have the desire to be their own boss.

The UK private recruitment and staffing industry is worth £27bn. The temporary drivers market alone is estimated to be worth over £2bn, helped by the increase in customer demands for a flexible workforce solution and the recent growth of on-line retailing which in turn requires more drivers to make deliveries.

I took the Manchester franchise as I felt there was a huge untapped market in this area and in addition  I could support the two already established Drivers Direct branches in Runcorn and Leyland. This has also worked in reverse, as since opening I have enjoyed great support from both the Runcorn and Leyland branches.

I have worked within the recruitment and transport industry since 1985 and felt this was a great opportunity for my family and I to run our own business. I had many sleepless nights prior to opening but with the support of Drivers Direct I have overcome the numerous hurdles and obstacles you encounter when starting up.
