Outline of our company

Daiso Industries started as a 100 yen shop and has grown tremendously over the years. The total number of Daiso shops is 2500, with over 500 shops in 22 other countries. Now Daiso has become one of the representative retailers in Japan. Recently, Daiso’s product range extends from 100 yen through to items costing 5000 yen. Most of them are the original items of Daiso and our product range exceeds 90,000 items of our own. Daiso has a fantastic reputation with Japanese customers, who are well known for being particularly critical over quality. Daiso product’s have earned 338 billion yen.

Plan for market in UK

We made a late start for extending our shops in Europe because we only have shops in Romania. The reason for our slow expansion in Europe is due to a language barrier. We have shops in English countries already and we have had an impact on the market place. Therefore we consider that the UK is a country that will respond well to Daiso shops. This National Franchise Exhibition in Birmingham this October will give us a good opportunity to meet partners because right now we don’t have any mediators between us.

Franchise fee

Shops larger than 500㎡ are feasible. Initial costs depend on the size of the shop. In addition to that, the exterior and interior décor of the shops also changes depends on its condition. Therefore we can not make a clear franchise cost. We display 20,000 to 250,000 items in 500㎡ floor. A embership fee is not required. We will negotiate about the details upon application
