Cartridge World History
Cartridge World was launched in Australia in 1988, and now operates in over 60 countries. It was established in the UK in 2001 and has a network of nearly 300 outlets with a support team based in Harrogate. There are plenty of opportunities to open new franchise operations as well as several re-sale options throughout the UK.
What we do and why
Cartridge World can refill almost any inkjet or laser toner cartridge, providing an environmentally-friendly alternative to throwing away used cartridges. The end result is a high-quality product offering substantial cost savings compared to the original manufacturer’s replacement. In an increasingly environmentally-aware world, consumers want to reduce their waste and are increasingly choosing to refill cartridges.
With demand for business services increasing, business customers benefit from a free collection and delivery service - allowing their staff to concentrate on what they do best rather than picking up office supplies.

Training and support
Cartridge World franchisees are all committed to building their own business around provision of the very best customer service.
New franchisees undergo five weeks’ intensive training, starting with three weeks at the Franchise Support Centre in Harrogate followed by a week in a Cartridge World training store. Upon opening, a member of the Technical Support Team will spend the first week in store with the new franchisee.
Franchisees have a detailed operations manual and ongoing technical assistance via the Technical Support Helpline. A dedicated Business Development Manager means assistance is always on hand to help with purchasing and stock control, administration, bookkeeping, marketing and anything else required.
With a network of stores across the UK, there is invaluable support provided by fellow franchisees. Coming from a wide variety of backgrounds, franchisees bring valuable experience to the Cartridge World family and are always ready to share their experience and knowledge.
