Phil Berg is the BNI Director for National Development and Training and heads the European Director Training Team. Phil is also the BNI Area Director for London North East, Herts & Beds, supporting a team of 17 BNI Directors and over 700 members

Phil was awarded the BNI European Assistant Director of the year 2006 and in 2007 was awarded with both The "Givers Gain Award" for Europe and BNI Area Director of the year

After 32 years in the carpet and flooring industry, he sold his company and has become a successful motivational speaker and sales improvement consultant concentrating further on helping people increase their sales, their personal confidence and develop their businesses. ("help others, before helping myself" is his motto).

He has received International recognition in America, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland and Kuala Lumpur, to name but a few

As a speaker, Phil's strength is that he and the audience totally relate to each other. He is genuine, sincere, humorous, and keeps things very simple. In fact it has often been said, "He delivers in a style that the audience can hear and understand best" (a lot of speakers deliver what they want to deliver - and not what the audience need to hear !!)

Phil is married to Jackie (who has loved him since they were 16 years old) and has 2 children: Jamie who is 18 years old and Natasha, 13 years old.

Phil's passion is very much sports related - he once played 5 rounds of golf, on 5 different golf courses ("in one day") - and raised £3,500 for charity.
He also played football for Spurs and QPR at junior level.
