Mark Shannon Franchisee, Cash Generator
Mark Shannon is 53 and lives near Blackburn. He is the owner of three Cash Generator stores in Manchester, Accrington and Huyton.
Mark launched his first Cash Generator store five and a half years ago. Before joining Cash Generator, Mark was an accountant for Initial Services, Dupont and Philips. Prior to this he was the Financial Controller at Philips Semiconductors.
After deciding that he wanted to go into business for himself, Mark decided to go down the franchise route. He liked the benefit of starting a business that was already proven. It offered him a level of security and safety that starting from scratch on his own could not provide.
After much research, Mark decided to go with Cash Generator. He liked the professionalism of the management team and as he had only ever received praise and positive feedback from the franchisees he visited, he knew it was a franchise worth being part of.
There has never been a dull moment for Mark since opening his first Cash Generator. Each day offers something new with Mark facing many challenges along the way. The support he receives from Cash Generator has allowed him to overcome them all. In his first year as a Cash Generator franchisee he was awarded "Best New Franchisee".
Five years on and three stores later Mark is still going strong.
