Antoinette Hunter Founder, Lilac Blue
Antoinette Hunter started her working life at Asprey Bond Street, then spent seven years in telecoms and new media strategic sales where she became the youngest sales director of US satellite giant Loral Cyberstar, before returning to the retail industry with the launch in 2003 of Lilac Blue, a luxury goods online gift company. Lilac Blue traded as Quintessentially Gifts for 5 years providing the retail arm for the global concierge company. It re-launched under its own name in 2009.
Lilac Blue Weddings, a sister company to the core service, is an online luxury wedding gift list service offering a highly personalized alternative to the department store offerings.
Antoinette's core strengths lie in sales, both in direct selling and channel sales, as well as leadership skills and strategic business planning. She has a detailed understanding of account management and is passionate about maintaining extraordinary levels of customer service. At Lilac Blue she researches new products and builds relationships with suppliers and partners; she introduces new customers and works the b2b business and private client base.
