Franchise Marketing Awards 2009

Entry rules and guidelines

 •    The entry deadline is 5pm Friday 13 February 2009. Any entries received after this date WILL NOT be submitted to the judging panel, although payment may still be processed and no refunds can be made.
•    Entries should not exceed the specified word limit. Any additional words WILL NOT be submitted to the judging panel.
•    All entries must include the entry form (download at franchiseinfo.co.uk/awards) and the admin fee of £180 per entry. There is no fee for the Best International Marketing Campaign 2009 category.
•    Entrants can enter more than one award – a charge will be made for each category as applicable.
•    All entries should be sent as hard copies (to include any supporting evidence; any online evidence provided should be indicated within the entry as a hyperlink or on a CD-Rom).
•    Three copies of each entry should be provided; one of these must be unbound.
•    Incomplete submissions will not be considered.
•    Submissions will not be returned.
•    All material submitted will remain strictly confidential to the judges.
•    The marketing campaign must be considered ethical by the judging panel.
•    The effectiveness of a recruitment campaign will be judged on the targeted recruitment of quality franchisees, which enables sustainable growth.  Entries will not be judged on the number of franchisees recruited.
•    All claims must be substantiated.
•    Entrants must be as objective as possible in their entries.
•    The judges’ decision will be final and there will be no written correspondence regarding their decisions.
•    The categories may be changed at the discretion of the organisers.
•    In the unlikely event of the Awards Dinner being cancelled the value of the tickets will be refunded in full.
•    The winner of each category will be announced at the Awards Dinner.
•    The company logo and two screen shot images of what the entry represents must accompany each entry.
•    The Franchise Marketing Awards 2009 is open to all UK franchisors that can demonstrate excellence and achievement in what they do. Eligible franchisors must be registered in the UK and accredited by the British Franchise Association.
•    Best International Marketing Campaign 2009 is open to international and UK franchisors and is free to enter.

 

Booking terms and conditions


•    All entrants must comply with the rules as set out in the Awards document and on www.franchiseinfo.co.uk to qualify for entry and to receive the two seats as part of their entry. This excludes the Best International Marketing Campaign.
•    Payments MUST be made by 5pm Friday 29 January 2009 to qualify for the early booking discount.
•    Payments MUST be made and cleared by 19 March 2009 in order for seats to be secured at the event; no entry will be allowed to those whose funds have not been received by VMG.
•    Tickets will be sent to you two weeks prior to the Awards Dinner.
•    All prices are exclusive of VAT and tickets are non-refundable.
•    All information is correct at time of going to press.
•    VMG reserves the right to substitute speakers or amend venues where necessary.
•    In the unlikely event of the Awards Dinner being cancelled the value of the tickets will be refunded in full.
•    Please note: the fee for each individual award entry of £180 includes two seats at the Awards Dinner.
